HK Week Notes 2/7/26

2nd July 2026

  1. Thing that happened – Just love Supervision with the Team- I have the privilege to get a taste of the brilliant impact they deliver.  It always amazes me how far the ripples of positive intervention can go.  From a simple HR issue leading to full health, benefit, family and housing support.  All in a day’s work for our brilliant Team but invaluable for those we support.

  1. Thing that happened – Just love in person meetings.  Funny how it takes a period of abstinence via Lockdown etc to make you just honour it so much.  Meeting this week with Kincardine and Mearns Planning Group just sowed so many seeds of positive leads.  A great shot of Gas in the Tank to keep the wheels of enthusiasm and ideas moving.

  1. Thing that happened – I never cease to be amazed on just who comes through the Bureau door.  Today Michael from a local rehabilitation centre reached out to make contacts.  What followed was an impromptu lunch meeting with so many connections and brainstorming between us.  A complete stranger is connected instantly to the values of the Bureau through shared values and the drive for positive impacts.  Look forward to collaboration and again you cannot beat in person.  Thanks Michael for taking the time to come in- Teen Challenge North Scotland- Teen Challenge North-East Scotland
