HK Week notes 4/9/25

1.       Thing that happened- So so delighted when our new Staff member walked in on Monday with bags of enthusiasm and ideas.  This is the ultimate power tool that has so many functions.  In this one person is lawyer, social worker and all round consummate empathetic professional. Humbled and delighted she has made her Home with us.

2.  Thing that happened – Finally got round to clearing out the drawers of all accumulated work.   As satisfying as getting round to cleaning the oven.  Now time to put together a new cake and create the new with the funding streams to build and strengthen our support to the community.

3. Thing that happened – Interesting to see how a piece of work that has been a good few years in the making and multiple stakeholders came to fruition in CAS this week in an EGM.  Very efficient and great evidence submitted with differing opinions respectively given space.  The concluding vote was Pure Gold and unanimous.  Great when ongoing challenges that drag us all down are finally put to an end for the good of all.
