HK Weeknotes 14/8/25

Overarching feeling of the week:

So pleased that I did go ahead to bring together a wee Community Support Event with a few of the other providers this week.  I was in two minds as amongst a busy schedule and lack of time was unsure how successful it would be but like any good recipe you just assemble class ingredients and it takes care of itself.

In this case we had our local Fire Bigrade, Police Superintendent, Carer Service, Advocacy service, Befriending Service, Mearns Coastal Healthy Network and our local Community Living room.

Around this magic waterhole assembled a few of our councillors and MSP.  The fruitful conversations and sharing of ideas was invaluable.  Members of the public wandered in and the potential for support and change was in the air.

You cannot beat the power of bringing committed individuals together into the same room.

So grateful that amongst the To Do I did make that booking.  The sun shone and cakes were bought.
