Support over the Festive Period
As 2025 draws to a close we wanted to put out a reminder that Kincardine and Mearns Citizens Advice Bureau will be closed to the public from Wednesday the 24th of December 2025 at 12pm until Monday the 5th of January 2026 at 9:30am.
Appointments:
This month please be aware that all non-urgent/emergent queries will either be signposted or given January 2026 appointment bookings.
If you need urgent/emergent support, we are holding a limited number of appointments on Monday the 22nd and Tuesday the 23rd of December 2025. These are by appointment only and must be prebooked.
All queries will be filtered through our Triage Team who at their discretion decide the level of urgency a query holds.
Financial Support:
If you are in need of financial support, please contact us as soon as possible. Ideally before Tuesday the 22nd of December 2025. We have food parcels, fuel vouchers and food vouchers than can be given to those in need.
Digital Support Sessions
Our final session of 2025 will take place on Thursday the 11th of December, reopening on Thursday the 8th of January 2026. If our reopening date changes, we shall create an update.
Self Help Advice:
During the period of time, that we are closed to the public our Public Advice site has a wealth of information that our clients can refer to: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/scotland/
During the time we are closed, you may leave voicemails or emails with ourselves, all we be answered during the first two weeks of January. We can’t give a specific date or timescale as we are unable to estimate the level of queries we may have nor their level or urgency.
